Louis Lekousi Obituary

Louis Lekousi, 65, formerly of Scarborough, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, with his loved ones by his side, after a long Battle with cancer.
He attended Scarborough schools and later community college. An avid ice hockey player, Lekousi played for local teams during his youth, and continued to play for adult leagues later.
Lou was employed in the construction industry, eventually specializing in tile-setting and earning master status. He worked for local companies before an independent tradesman with his own crew.
Lou was known for his ready wit and sociability. Less well known, however, was his willingness to help those in need around him.
He is survived by a wife, children, sister, brother in law, and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Saco on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 2PM, following a viewing from 1:30-2:00PM at the church. Burial will follow in St. Demetrios Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
