Louise Wright Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 16, 2025.
The Following Obituary Was Beautifully Written by The Family of Mrs. Wright:
Mrs. Louise M. Wright
July 12, 1935 – July 14, 2025
Mrs. Louise M. Wright, 90, of Addison, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord and her beloved husband on July 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Louise was born on July 12, 1935, in Sardis, Alabama, to the late James Samuel Maze and Lottie Maze.
She spent most of her life in the Upshaw community of Addison, Alabama, where she built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and service. Many knew and loved Louise from her years as a dedicated Mutual Savings Life Insurance agent, where she worked faithfully until her retirement. Louise had a passion for simple joys-gardening, sewing, crocheting, and creating thoughtful gifts for her friends and family. Summers found her in her flower or vegetable garden or in the kitchen canning the fruits of her labor. Her love for her family was deep, and she cherished time spent fishing, playing Rook, and doing arts and crafts with those she held dear. Known for her warm spirit and sassy wit, Louise had a special way of telling you exactly how she felt-with honesty, grace, and a little sparkle. She was a proud and devoted member of Addison Church of God, where her faith was evident in all she did. Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Frank Wright; her son, Jackie Ray Wright; and her siblings, Jimmy Henry Maze, Samuel Edward "Cotton" Maze, and Janice Maze.
She is survived by her children: her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Potocsnak (Joe); daughter, Debbie Fitzgerald (Joe); and son and daughter-in-law, Robert Wright (Veronica).
She is also survived by her sister, Ellouise "Crickett" Carrell (Manley); her brother-in-law, Don Wright (Sandra); her loving grandchildren: Tina James (Greg), Jamie Burrow (Chuck), Summer Sparkman (Daniel), Adam Wright, Linda Snipes, Bradley Snipes (Lindsey), Erett Fitzgerald (Jessica), Cali Thornton (Charlie), Jake Wright, Harrison Wright, Emma Wright, Gaven Wright, and Gracyn Wright; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In her final moment of peace, Louise left one last message for all her family and friends. She passed away at 1:43 p.m.-a number that symbolizes "I LOVE YOU." A silent, sacred reminder of the deep love she carried for each of you until her very last breath. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who visited, called, or sent gifts. A very special thank you to Aveanna Hospice for their compassionate care, especially her full-time nurse Jennifer, her CNA Chasity, and her weekend nurse Erica, who each cared for Louise with dignity, tenderness, and love during her final journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama in memory of Louise and in honor of all those impacted by this disease.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
- 2 Timothy 4:7
Louise's light, laughter, and legacy will continue to shine through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished
