Stella Mae "Bump" Rosegotter, 94
SHEPHERDSVILLE

Stella Mae "Bump" Rosegotter, age 94, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Shelby County, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville. She had formerly worked at Schenley Distillery, General Electric, Roll Forming and also delivered mail part-time. She also was a homemaker. She was a member of Burks Branch Baptist Church. She was an avid fisherwoman and loved cooking delicious meals. Most of all, she loved her dog "Baby."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewett and Grace Phillips; her husband, William Rosegotter, Jr.; her brother, Sydney Phillips; her sister, Frances Renfrow; and her grandson, Nicholas Rosegotter.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Nichols of Shepherdsville, Stephen Rosegotter of Campbellsville, Lisa Martin (Kevin) of Louisville and Patricia Thorpe (Michael) of Louisville; her brother, Glen Phillips (Jan) of Punta Gorda, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shelby County Humane Society, WHAS Crusade for Children or Hosparus.
