Lowana "Ronnie" Bernadine Orcena, age 94 of Mount Gilead, passed away Sunday August 3, 2025 in Marion.

Ronnie was born November 21, 1930 in Marion, the daughter of the late Clarence and Estella Marshall. On April 26, 1947 she was united in married to Lawrence T. "Larry" Orcena. Together they went to Bible College in Owosso, MI.

Ronnie was a woman of deep faith and unwavering commitment to her church community. As a Pastor's wife, she served not only as a spiritual support to her husband but also as a guiding light within the congregation. She was especially influential in the youth group program, where her wisdom, compassion, and joyful spirit touched the lives of many young people.

At home, Ronnie was the heart of her family. Her nurturing presence, warm meals, and steady love created a home filled with faith, kindness, and care. She also found joy in sewing, using her talent to create cherished gifts and lasting memories.

She will be remembered for her steadfast faith, servant's heart, and the countless lives she uplifted through her quiet strength and selfless love.

She is survived by her children: Lawrence T. (Sharon Lucas) Orcena, Diana Edwards and Jackie (the late Walter) Pelezynski; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Ronnie is preceded in death by her devoted husband along with 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Graveside service will be Friday August 8, 2025 at Grand Prairie Cemetery, 4964 Brush Ridge Dr N, Marion, OH 43302 at 1PM; friends may meet at the front gate at 12:45; Pastor Edward Colegrove will be officiating.

If desired, donation may be made to Edison Enterprise Baptist Church, 3055 OH-95, Edison, OH 43320.
