Lucille Anne Warwick “LuAnne” Lambert, 68, of Williamston, NC, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, in her home.
LuAnne was born in Johnson City, NY, on May 2, 1956, and was the daughter of the late Avery C. and Dorothy Laverne Llewellyn Warwick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Kenneth David Lambert; a sister, Dorothy Griggs; a sister-in-law, Mary Smallcomb; and a brother-in-law, Phillip Neville. Employed as a waitress for many years, she later found enjoyment working as a caregiver to one special lady, Mrs. Joy Smith Wactor.
Surviving is her daughter, Heather Gallinoto (Vincent) of Bethel; a son, Paul Drazen of Bristol, TN; a sister, Alta Neville of Binghamton, NY; three brothers, Thomas Smallcomb of Vestal, NY, David Warwick of Binghamton, NY, and John Warwick (Laura) of Conklin, NY; three special grandchildren, Jaydin of Bristol, Aliyah of Williamston, and Kiari of Bethel; a dear best friend of over 30 years, Judy Mobley of Williamston; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Besides her family, two things gave LuAnne great pleasure. One was collecting Coca-Cola items and the other was her Sunkist sodas. She never skipped out on an “orange” as she would call it; if someone saw her, it was known that she would have one close by.
LuAnne will be remembered for her feisty attitude and her commitment to her family and peers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to CenterWell Home Health in Washington for their prior care in physical and occupational therapy as well as the nursing staff they provided during her time of need.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are being planned.
