We celebrate the life and cherish the memories of Lucy Guerrero, a beacon of love and generosity, who was called to her heavenly home on July 20, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on August 24, 1930, in the sun-soaked state of New Mexico, Lucy's journey led her to, Madera California, where she lived with her daughter Tina.

Lucy dedicated her life to the service of others, touching countless hearts through her 30 years as a mental health counselor, where her wisdom and compassion brought solace and healing to many. Upon retirement, she continued to spread her kindness at Anne Darling Elementary, where her work in Special Education earned her the endearing title of "grandma" by all the children. Her presence was a gift to the world and her legacy will be everlasting in the lives she touched.

Education was a cornerstone of Lucy's life. A proud graduate of high school, she valued knowledge and the doors it could open. Her relentless pursuit of growth and understanding was not limited to her own education but extended generously to others.

Lucy's Christian faith was the compass that guided her through life's joys and challenges. Her love for the Lord shone brightly in her actions and in her tireless commitment to her family and community. Her life was a testament to the Christian virtues of love, kindness, and generosity that she embodied so fully.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Lucy found her greatest joy in the company of her children and grandchildren. Each moment spent with them was treasured, each memory, a precious jewel in the crown of her well-lived life. She taught them the virtues of giving without expecting anything in return and carried herself with a graceful spirit that inspired all around her.

Lucy relished the times she could indulge in a bit of pampering, be it getting her hair done, her nails painted, or enjoying a touch of makeup. These simple pleasures, however, paled in comparison to the joy she found in serving others and witnessing the happiness she could bring to their lives. Described best as loving, kind, and generous, Lucy's spirit was a gentle yet powerful force that left an indelible mark on the world.

As we bid farewell to Lucy Guerrero, we do so with a celebration of her remarkable life-a life characterized by unwavering faith, steadfast love, and boundless generosity. She will be profoundly missed by her cherished children, her adoring grandchildren, and the countless individuals whose lives she influenced. Her bright light will continue to glow in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, guiding us with the wisdom and kindness she freely shared. Lucy's story is not one of goodbye but a beautiful narrative of a life well-lived and a soul at peace in the Lord's embrace.
