July 5, 1995 - June 27, 2025
Luke Evan Tetzloff, born on July 5, 1995, in Palos Heights, Illinois, passed away on June 27, 2025, just shy of his 30th birthday. He had a quiet wit, clever ideas, a kindness and compassion beyond his years.
The cherished son of Sharon and Bruce Tetzloff, and stepson to Patrick, Luke was a thinker, a doer, and a helper. He shared a close bond with his younger brother, Evan.
Luke's humor was subtle, his laugh unmistakable, and his ability to surprise you with a perfectly timed one-liner was unmatched. He loved to travel, especially to Hawaii. One of his favorite memories was flying over the waterfalls of Molokai with his mom and Step Dad. He also loved to travel to different baseball stadiums with his Dad to watch the Cardinals play. He loved action movies, played baseball and was in the cub scouts growing up, and never wavered in his loyalty to the St. Louis Cardinals.
He lived a full and varied life, working on fishing boats in Alaska and side by side with his dad maintaining condo buildings. Luke didn't just fix things, he tried to improve them. He saw the world a little differently and found his own way through it, often with a screwdriver in one hand and a mystery snack combo in the other.
He was loved deeply and will be missed fiercely by his parents, his stepdad, his brother, and all who knew his unique light.
Luke is preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Leona Tetzloff, and Donald and Diane Kelly.
Service details will be updated here as they become available.

In Luke's honor, grab your favorite snack, find a ridiculous action flick, and laugh, even just a little louder than you normally would. That's how he'd want to be remembered.
