Mr. Lyle W. Frazier, Jr., 84, of Edinburg, IL passed from this life at 5:05 P.M. Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Sicily, IL on Tuesday, December 31, 1940, the son of Lyle W. and Ramonda A. "Betty" (Boulanger) Frazier, Sr.
Mr. Frazier worked for 28 years at Circle Steel and then 15 years at Christian County Mental Health both in Taylorville then 4 years doing maintenance for South Fork Schools. He loved his horses, camping and spending time with his family. Lyle rode the 100-mile trail across Southern Illinois and the Jim Edgar Wildlife Sanctuary. He also liked mud truckin and his side by side.
Surviving are 2 daughters Sonya Frazier of Taylorville, Sandy Garibaldi of Tovey, 2 sons Scott Frazier of Edinburg and Steve Frazier of Taylorville, 7 grandchildren, siblings Alfred (Madonna) Frazier of Kincaid, Louise Cooper of AZ, Ella (Gary) Julius of Taylorville Kenneth Frazier and partner Chuck Brunk of Springfield sister-in-law Sheila Frazier of Kincaid along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Pete Frazier.
A Family Memorial Gathering and Celebration of his life has been planned. Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid assisted with arrangements. For those not attending condolences may be left here at mastersonfh.com (This Website) which will be printed and given to his family.
