After some years Lynda relocated to Arkansas where she met and Married Willie Lee Lovett. From that union they had no children, but gained two stepchildren: Shawn Lovett, April Lovett and two grandchildren.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents: William Henry Simmons Sr. and Margaree Pipkin-Simmons; Spouse Willie Lovett; Three sisters: Yvonne M. Edwards, Wilma Jean Williams and Margie Bell Simmons; Two brothers: Royal C. Pipkin and Robert L. Simmons.
She leaves to cherish her memory six siblings: William Henry Simmons Jr. (Jackie) of Chappell Hill, Texas, Wadeeah Ali of Chicago, Illinois, Gloria Dean Simmons of Schaumburg, Illinois, Carolyn Jean Simmons of Chicago, Illinois, Ronald Simmons of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Donald Simmons of Prescott, Arkansas. Two aunts of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
