Lynne Adele Adams, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, at the age of 73 in Renton, Washington after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Lynne lived a life marked by compassion, intellect, and quiet strength. She graduated from Federal Way High School in 1970, and went on to earn her Master's degrees in both Speech Therapy and Counseling from Central Washington University. She then spent her time teaching in the Tri-Cities, dedicating her career to helping others find their voice. Her deep empathy and warmth made her a trusted friend to many.
Those who knew Lynne will remember her love for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed years of volunteer work with cats at Regional Animal Services of King County. She loved visiting the beach, especially Ocean Shores. She had a deep devotion to her family and friends, with a gentle, kind hearted spirit.
The highlight of her life was raising her daughter Juliana. She found joy in the little things: a meal with someone she loved, a quiet moment with a pet curled beside her, or a thoughtful conversation that lingered in the heart.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Juliana Adams; her siblings Loral Adams, Gerry Adams (Marilyn Adams), and Gene Adams (Sandi Adams), her nieces and nephews, and many dear friends and extended family members who were touched by her grace and care.
In lieu of flowers, Lynne requested that donations be made to The Angel Fund at Regional Animal Services of King County a cause close to her heart.
Lynne's memory will live on in the many lives she helped, the family she cherished, and the love she gave so freely.

SHIRLEY SKAGER

July 22, 2025

Lynne and I met in 2011 she. Had lost her Mother and l had lost my husband. We remained friends and stayed in touch thru the years that followed. We shared many cups of coffee and lunches. We wrote letter and made phone calls when I moved to Texas for three years. We picked up right where we left off when I moved back in 2024. Our last lunch together was for her birthday this year. She shared her illness and from then on it was texts and phone calls. We always ended it with how much we valued the friendship we had. I will miss you my friend. I will think of you when I see the fall leaves, the kittens you loved so much you made a difference in my life. Thanks for your friendship . SHIRLEY SKAGER
