Mrs. Mabel Lee Adams, age 96, a resident of De Queen, passed from this life, Monday, June 30, 2025, at Bear Creek Healthcare.

She was born to Ray Aldon and Mabel T. Blanchfield Smith on July 10, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She married Jean E. Adams on January 14, 1950, in Colorado. They moved to McCaskill, Arkansas in October 1962, where they lived until his passing in 2007. Mabel and her husband owned Adams DX, also known as Tillie's Place, for approximately 25 years in McCaskill, Arkansas. Mabel was a volunteer fire and first responder; she was also a trick rider in rodeos. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, gardening, taking walks, she loved fishing, playing dominoes, and was a member of Avery's Chapel UMC in McCaskill, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, William Adams, a daughter, Reta Bradley, a brother, Ray A. Smith, a sister, Bonnie Bland, and a great-grandson, Cody Leon Firm.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Nancy Adams of De Queen; one daughter, Susan Smith of De Queen; One son-in-law, Edwin Bradley of De Queen; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, as well as other family members.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Adams will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Avery's Chapel Cemetery in McCaskill, Arkansas, with Caplin Rufus Robinson officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., at Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
