She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sherry Thuer of Dixon, MO; 2 granddaughters, Stephanie (Jason) Ruff and Deanna Thuer, two great grandchildren, Ryley and Coplen; and a sister, Carol Loy of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three step sisters, Martha, Judy, and Betty.
She was faithful member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Carrollton serving in many roles. She worked at Mobil Chemical in Jacksonville for many years until she retired. She enjoyed bowling and traveling.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2025 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Carrollton with burial to follow in Carrollton City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church. Memorial donations may be suggested to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com
