Mack Edwards Obituary

Mack Arthur Edwards. Born March 10, 1945 to Arthur and Margie (Hay) Edwards in Dickenson County Virginia where he grew up, and later as a young adult moved to Mansfield Ohio where he resided for the majority of his adult life. He worked in coal mines early in his life and later at the BrickYard in Mansfield, Ohio. He was of the primitive baptist faith and tried to live the best christian life he knew how.
He enjoyed listening to and playing bluegrass music, watching old westerns and action movies as well as the outdoors and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed and treasured his family and being together with them. He always looked forward to family events. He made it his goal to provide for his family and protect them to the best of his ability and never asked for anything for himself. He sure loved to pick on people too and be silly; his laugh will be forever remembered. To say he will be missed is an understatement, his presence in our lives was big, but we all know someday we will be reunited with him and that will be a great day. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Margie as well as one spouse Ethel Marie (Tucker) Edwards, a son Mack Arthur Edwards JR, sisters Elma Jean Rasnake, Elva Francess Rasnake, Rita Jo Powers and brothers Lester, Curtis, Alonzo, Allen, Trenton, Jack, Jerry, Junior and Robert, as well as his special friend (cousin) L.H. Edwards. He is survived by his children Lisa (Tim) Lawson, Rebecca Taylor, Michael (Carol) Edwards, Lottie Edwards, David Edwards and Jerry (Stephanie) Edwards; grandchildren Brandon, Faith, Haley, Bradd, Joe, Brady, Kaleb, Donnie, Crystal, Ashley, Randy, Chelsey, Dawn, Michelle, Lacey, Jordan, Kayla, Toby, Azhya, Brian, Jasmine, Maria, Addison, Trent, Emily, Aiden, Gavin, Denim, River, Carter, Lillyanne, Colt, Nick, Adam, Gwendolyn, Bailey and Eli; and many great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
