Malakye Cooper Miles entered this world on February 10, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma, blessing his mother, Destiny Miles, with a sweet and precious baby boy. His father is Kent Smart.
Malakye was a very happy and sweet young man that understood the joy of living. He was dedicated to his Lord and Savior at the age of 2 in Ratliff City First Baptist Church. He was active in sports and he had an absolute love and talent for all sports, especially basketball
Malakye departed this life on Friday July 11, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Destiny, his sister Aubrey, and his foster brother Cristian(all of the home), his father (Kent), stepmother (Stacey), siblings (Maverick, Major, Elijah, Jackson, Karter) of Lone Grove, stepfather (Josh), stepbrothers (Kayden and Taegan) of Davis, maternal grandparents (Timmy and Tevett) of Elmore City, maternal great grandparents (Paul) of Elmore City and (Earlene) of Tatums, paternal grandfather (Ray) of Pruitt City, paternal grandmother (Lee Ann Hair of Dickson, paternal great grandmother (Jimmie Faye) also of Pruitt City, his step grand parents (Sharon and Mark) of Davis. Malakye is also survived by many many loved ones, including friends not mentioned. He would also want to give a special thank you to his aunts (Torry, Tammy. and Cassandra),special baby sitter (Amy), and his uncle who was like his brother (Uncle Bubba). Also his maternal great aunt (Marnett) and his maternal great uncle (Ramon) of Edmond and Choctaw, respectively
He is reunited in Christ with his great-grandmother (Shirley), great grandma (Mary Francis), great grandpa (James) and many other grandparents, relatives, and loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5-7PM at the DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 1PM at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood with interment to follow at Little Flock Cemetery in Elmore City.
