Manuel Kelly Obituary
Geneva - Manuel W. "Turbo" Kelly, age 69, of Geneva Ohio passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2024. He was born October 29, 1954 and raised in Chardon, Ohio. He was a Chardon High School graduate and later attended Kent State University. Manuel was a lifelong racing aficionado. In his youth he was once the Ohio State Champion for go-kart racing in his division, loved watching everything from NASCAR to Formula 1, and even had the opportunity to transport cars for Polestar Racing Group. He looked forward to his trip to Mid-Ohio with his racing buddies every year. His love of cars extended into his work and was proud to be a car hauler for a large part of his career. Manuel was a skilled marksman, an avid trap and skeet shooter. He enjoyed his membership with Crooked Creek Conservation Club for many years. Of all his past times the one that meant the most to him was his time spent helping his friends and family, or simply enjoying their company. He was always quick to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He beat the odds to survive esophageal cancer and lived life with gratitude and zest for every day that he was "on the right side of the dirt". The best way to honor Manuel is by having a nice steak, cracking open a cold Michelob Light, and watching a game or a race with loved ones. Manuel is survived by his son Christpher Kelly of Chesterland, sister Linda (Kelly) Hulderman and nephew Patrick Hulderman of Concord, niece Kelly Hulderman of Cleveland, many dear cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Geneva (Scaggs) Kelly, brother Paul Kelly, and brother-in-law David Hulderman.
As per Manuel's request, there will be no services. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
