Margaret was born on May 22, 1947, in Carthage, Mississippi, to the late Garnett and Queen Ester Graham Griffin.  She was a proud graduate of O.E. Jordan High School, Class of 1965 and proud Alumnae of MS Valley State University.

A woman of deep faith, Margaret loved the Lord and served Him Faithfull throughout her life.  She was a devoted member of Galilee M.B. Church in Carthage, MS. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife to the late R.L. For over 50 years, Margaret called the Dixon community home. Together with her husband, she farmed the land and shared their love of cooking by feeding friends, neighbors, and the wider community.  Her hospitality and kindness were hallmarks of her generous spirit.

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughter, Kendra (Ray) Gibson; two grandsons, Jalen, Philadlephia MS and Kenderrion, Dekalb, MS; granddaughtes, Ja'Bria and Ja'Naysia, Union, MS, Rayven and Raygan, Philadelphia, MS and six beloved great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlett Griffin (Vernell) of Carthage, MS; two sisters, Bobbie Owens and Claudette Greer both of Carthage, MS.   She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L.
