Margaret Ann Perryman, known to some as "Dean", was born June 17, 1942, in Ville Platte, Louisiana to Lizzie Tate and Melvin Jason. Dean lived a life of happiness and joy. She departed this earthly home to her Heavenly home on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Lake Charles. She leaves to cherish her memories, her brother, Charles (Sharon) Ambrose Jr.; sister, Telissa Goodly; half sisters, Brenda Frank, Carolyn (Jerry) Chase, Alzena (Donald) Poole, Wenny Harvey, Cynthia McClemore, and Veronica (Laundry) Jack; godchildren, Stephanie Druilette, Yolanda Ceasar Launza, Jolie Jones, Nathan Bradley, and Albert Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Tate Ambrose; father, Melvin Jason, and stepfather she was raised by, Charles Ambrose Sr.; sister, Debra Ann Edwards; half sisters, Gwendolyn Foote and Carlene Jason; and half brother, Leonard Jason. Her visitation will be Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 2PM with her funeral following at 4PM, at James Funeral Home located at 1801 Moeling Street in Lake Charles. Pastor Tori L. Sweet Sr. will officiate.
