Margarita Rivera Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margarita Rivera, who peacefully left us on February 19, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico and moved to Vineland, NJ in the 1960's. During her time in Vineland, she worked as a USDA Inspector.
Margarita is survived by her four children: Rafael Martinez-Rivera, Juan-Carlos Rodriguez, Jenny Rivera, and Eliud Velazquez as well as her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Margarita will be remembered as someone who was loving, honest, humble, strong-willed, and always put her family first. She enjoyed cooking for others, and never failed to serve a delicious meal filled with love. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones, and her memory will forever live on within our hearts.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday February 27, 2025 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm followed by a funeral service at 4:00pm at DeMarco – Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ. Burial will be private.
