Margarito Sanchez, Jr., 74, of Aurora, IL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July, 5, 2025.
Loving father of Esmeralda (Roberto) Mata. Beloved grandfather of Daisy Mendoza (Edwin Barajas), Julian Luna, Oscar Rodriguez (Kimberly Guillen), Josiah Gonzalez and Deliyana Gonzalez. Dear brother of Alamar (the late Angel) Arambula and Hector Sanchez (Judy Beach).
Margarito was preceded in death by his loving wife, Consuelo Sanchez; his parents, Margarito Sr. and Gertrudez Sanchez; three siblings, Ricardo Sanchez, Ismael "Guero" Sanchez and Jesus "Roy" Sanchez.
Margarito was a great husband, father and grandfather who was always there for his family when they needed something. He was extremely dependable and would do anything it took to lend a hand when someone he loved was in need. You could always count on Margarito to tell you like it was, he always spoke the truth, whether you liked it or not. Margarito had an extremely outgoing and fun personality that drew people to him. He made many friends throughout his life. His hippie ways contributed to good times. There were many unforgettable party moments with him that will be talked about for years to come. In his younger years Margarito served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war and was very proud of his duty to our country. After coming back from the Army he began working at Lyon Metal from which he retired after 40 years.
Margarito will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Montgomery, IL, 60538.
