Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Clark will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Friendship Baptist Church, Pine Prairie, with Reverends Brian Thomas and Ervin Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Prairie, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Clark, 81, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home, Pine Prairie, LA.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo, thrift store shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Clark; one son, Kenneth W. Clark; her parents, Jefferson and Ruby Hogan; one grandson, Christopher L. McWhirter; one sister, Lilly Wilder; and three brothers, Nolan Hogan, Kenneth Hogan, and Herman Hogan.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Clarence Clark (Malinda) of Turkey Creek; two daughters, Lynn McWhirter (Marek) of Upper Pine Prairie, and Cammie Deville of Turkey Creek; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, Pine Prairie, on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Kenny Clark, K.C. McCauley, Tyler Clark, Marek McWhirter, Jessie Jr Johnson, and Gene Landreneau.
