Maria Elena Aguilar Vasquez, 60, of Farmersville, CA passed away on November 10, 2024, from natural causes.
Maria Elena was born on July 17, 1964, to Carmen Aguilar Vasquez and Ruperto Aguilar in Morelia, Mexico. Maria Elena graduated from high school and went on to complete her education in the administration field in Mexico. After she migrated over to the states, she spent years as a street vendor and later transitioned into a full-time care provider.
Maria Elena was predeceased by Mirella and Sergio Aguilar Vasquez. She is survived by her siblings Enedina, Lupe, Rosa, Rosario, Lilia, Mariauxilio, Juan, Filimon and Rogelio Aguilar Vasquez alongside the Risenhoover family.
Even though Maria Elena had no spouse or children, she was surrounded by family and friends that she called her own.
Some of Maria Elenas hobbies included taking care of her chickens, roosters, and her cat, Gizmo. She was the biggest animal lover and enjoyed spending time outside soaking up natures beauty while tending to her garden. Along with that, she loved being around family & friends while seeing all her kiddos grow up right before her eyes.
Maria Elena spent her time selling corn, pinwheels, snow cones and so much more all throughout the Farmersville Community. Some of you may know her as your childhood "Elote Lady", senorita Nena, friend, or beloved family member. Over the years, Maria Elena got to know so many people in town and many locals had some stories to share; ranging from Maria Elena being "the sweetest little lady who was very respectful with the most precious soul" to "her being the best part of yours and your kids day for over 20+ years". She treated everyone with so much love and would give you everything she had if she could. We have all lost a beautiful person and a cherished family member.
Services will be held at Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel in Farmersville on November 27th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, any other donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
