Maria Bozas
Devoted wife and mother.
Maria peacefully passed away on Friday, May 2nd, 2025. Maria was born on March 4th, 1938, in Tripotamo, Arcadia, Greece to Demetrios and Eleni Theodoropoulos (Yiakopoulos).
In October of 1966, Maria arrived in the United States with her late husband Peter. She was pregnant with their first child and they had hopes of a better life for their future family. Maria raised three children while working full time. She was a compassionate caregiver of many and generously gave to the community at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
Maria was the beloved wife of the late Peter and loving mother of Helen (Marrion deceased) Demore, Demetrios "Jim" (Monica Ewanko) and Kyriakos "Chuck" and proud grandmother of Peter. Maria was also the dear sister of ; Bill (deceased) (Cathy) Theodore, George (Sharon) Theodore, Tom (Maria) Theodore, Taki (Efi) Theodoropoulos, Foti (Toula) Theodoropoulos, Kosta Theodoropoulos (deceased), and sister in-law of; Nikolaos (Christoula) Bozas, Angeliki (George deceased) Korkatzis, Kristina (Nikolas) Augoustatos, Konstantinos (Mary) Bozas and Eleni (Tasos) Spiliopoulos, Yiannis Bozas (deceased), Theodoris Bozas (deceased).
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 8, 11am at
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church
2187 W 14th St. (at Fairfield), Cleveland
where family will receive friends from 10am until time of services.
Rev. Father Dean Dimon officiating.
Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church
