Marie Easter Obituary
Marie Elizabeth Easter, 100 of Ripley, passed away October 13, 2025 at Ravenswood Care Center following a short illness.
Marie was born November 9, 1924, in Jackson County, daughter of the late Bradford and Ocie Hartley Winter. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Marie worked at Phil’s Pharmacy in Ripley and Retired from Rite Aid in Ripley with over 35 years of service. She was a Christian and attended many churches during her life including the Salt Hill Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hyre (Mike); daughter-in-law, Sharon Easter; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Easter; sons Ralph Clayton Easter and Bill Easter; and daughter Janet Lemley.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Steve Raines officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Joes Run, Sandyville. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
