Marilyn Carroll Goins, 72 of Searcy, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 19, 1953, to James R. and Ruby (Tipton) Smith. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jessie Goins; her children, Kimberly Phillips, Rebecca Craig, and Martin Yancey; her grandchildren, Spencer Green, Trinity Phillips, Samantha Gallaway, Cody Gallaway, Alexis Booth, Desiree Yancey; several great grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Ekstrom; a niece, Carmen Miles. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jessie Goins IV. Marilyn was very well known in the flea marketing community. She and Jessie had a booth at Thackerland Flea Market for almost 40 years. She enjoyed meeting new people and visiting with the friends she already had made. Ceramics and painting were some of her passions. Her love for animals was shown by the care and companionship she shared with her dogs. She always enjoyed a good movie, especially old musicals and Elvis. Time with her family was always at the top of her favorite things, she loved them with all her heart. She will always be remembered as having a big personality. Her family and friends will miss her, she will forever be in their hearts. Per Marilyn's request there will be no services held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
