Mario Alifonso Obituary

Mario J. Alifonso, 69, of Providence, Rhode Island died Saturday July 5th at home surrounded by his family.
Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Victor M. and Dolores Alifonso. A resident of Providence for most of his life, Mr. Alifonso worked as a lab tech at the Accu Rx factory in Johnston for thirty plus years.
He was the husband of Salvadorita (Cornielle) Alifonso. He leaves three daughters, Salvamarie Alifonso, Marielli Alifonso, and Luzmarie Alifonso all of Providence. He was the brother of Victor Alifonso, William Alifonso, Pablo Ydelfonso, Mario R. Alfonzo, Felipe Alifonso, Rafael Alifonso, German Alifonso, Doris Alifonso, and Melida Alifonso.
His funeral will be Thursday July 10th from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue Warwick at 8:45 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 178 Dexter Street, Providence at 10 AM. Calling Hours Wednesday July 9th from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Nacido en la República Dominicana, era hijo del fallecido Víctor M. y Dolores Alifonso. Residente de Providence durante la mayor parte de su vida, el Sr. Alifonso trabajó como técnico de laboratorio en la fábrica de Accu Rx en Johnston durante más de treinta años.
Era el esposo de Salvadorita (Cornielle) Alifonso. Deja tres hijas, Salvamarie Alifonso, Marielli Alifonso y Luzmarie Alifonso, todas de Providence. Era hermano de Víctor Alifonso, William Alifonso, Pablo Ydelfonso, Mario R. Alfonzo, Felipe Alifonso, Rafael Alifonso, Germán Alifonso, Doris Alifonso y Melida Alifonso.
El horario de atención será el miércoles 9 de julio de 4 a 8 p.m. en la funeraria Frank P. Trainor & Sons, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Su funeral se llevará a cabo el jueves, a las 8:45 a.m. La Misa de Entierro Cristiano se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia de San Carlos Borromeo, 178 Dexter Street, Providence a las 10 AM.
