Mark Andrew Fertitta, 67, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on January 1, 1958, Mark was the beloved son of Anna Mae and R.T. Fertitta, Jr.
Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn Fertitta of Beaumont; his daughter, Katy Fertitta of Houston; his son, Michael Fertitta and his wife, Megan, of Beaumont; and his cherished grandchildren, Greyson, George, and Caroline. He is also survived by his parents, Anna Mae and R.T. Fertitta, Jr. of Beaumont; his sisters, Debbie Fertitta Rogers of Beaumont and Janis Fertitta of Sugar Land; his nephew, Tony Floyd and his wife, Jie, of Beaumont; and many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.
He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, J.W. Rogers; his grandparents, Antoinette and Anthony Lombardo, Sr., and Catherine and R.T. Fertitta, Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy Anne and C.W. Conn, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas, 2780 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, Texas 77703 (give online), or to MD Anderson Cancer Center, c/o Dr. Robert Wolff, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025, at St. Jude’s Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A celebration of Mark's life will follow at Amelia Farm & Market, 8600 Dishman Road, Beaumont.
