Marlene Simmons Cox went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2025. She was born January 12, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Jackson Marlow Simmons and Maurine Thompson Simmons. She is predeceased by her parents; son, Brett Aaron Cox, and grandson, Bryce Aaron Cox. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jerry Cox; her devoted son, Jeremy Cox; sister-in-law, Barbara Robinson, and extended family and friends. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
