Marlene M. Feitz, 88 years old, passed away at 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Marlene was born on November 25, 1936 in Marshall County, IN to the late John J. and Martha L. (Thacker) Milner. She was self-employed as a tax preparer for over fifty years. Marlene was a kind person, an amazing mother, baker, nature lover, musician and lifelong traveler to all 50 states.

Marlene is survived by her three children, Susan (Rick) Staldine of Sun City West, AZ, Jon R. Feitz of Costa Mesa, CA, and Dr. Daniel Feitz of Panama City, FL; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Staldine, Benjamin Staldine, David Feitz, Erika Frisse, Sara Feitz, Megan Feitz, Marlie Feitz, and Daniel Feitz, Jr.; and four great grandchildren, Jackson, Samuel, Norah, and Joseph. Marlene is also survived by her brother, Roger Milner of Plymouth. Along with her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Robert Feitz, and her sister, Phyllis Swihart.

Per Marlene's wishes, there will be no services. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville Chapel is assisting with cremation services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marlene M. Feitz may be donated to Pet Refuge, 4626 S. Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614. Online condolences may be offered to Marlene's family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
