Mr. Marshall Jarvis, Jr., 35 of Taylorville passed from this life at 10:32 AM Friday June 27, 2025, in Kincaid, IL.

He was born in Springfield, IL on June 14, 1990, the son of Marshall and Ruth (Stark) Jarvis Sr.

Marshall served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He had worked as a correctional officer for Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. He enjoyed fishing and especially loved spending time with the joy of his life, his daughter.

Surviving are his daughter Adeline Jarvis of Taylorville, IL his parents Marshall and Ruth Jarvis of Kincaid, IL a sister Amber Jarvis and her companion Erin Sheedy of Litchfield, IL along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and 2 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation / gathering will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid. Services will start with a military salute and end with words and memories shared by family and friends. Following the services at Masterson's a fellowship meal will follow at the South Fork Township Hall, just down the street from the funeral home in Kincaid. For those unable to attend, condolences and memories may be left at mastersonfh.com and will be printed and given to Marshall's family.
