Surviving are her Daughter, Sharon (Jeff) Sumrall; Sons, Richard E. (Lawana) Gothard, Mark (Wanda) Gothard; Brothers, Sam Smith, Jr., James Smith, Jerry (Joann) Smith; Granddaughters, Karen (Marty) Harrison, Aleah (Jordan) Mims, Alexis (Kenny) Chapman, Ashley (Josh) Floyd; Grandsons, Kyle (Aimee) Sumrall, Heath (Hailey) Gothard, Hanlon (Brandy) Gothard;19 Great-Grandchildren; Great, Great-Grandchildren; A host of other family.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Gothard; Father, Sam Smith, Sr.; Mother, Verta Stewart Smith.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. William Short, and Rev. Mark Lovett officiating.
Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
