Martha Amanda Hammack, 92
Martha Amanda Hammack of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.
She was born March 9, 1933, in Germany to the late Julius and Anna Schulz; she moved to Lake Wales from Annandale, Virginia in 1993. Martha was the owner and teacher of Hope Montessori School in Annandale, Virginia. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and she made the best bread.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Hammack; sons, Jack Tyler and Robert Tyler; daughter, Nancy Harbaugh; and grandson, Devon Harbaugh. She is survived by her step-son, Larry Hammack and wife Myra; sister, Isle; four grandchildren; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Hammack; and best friends who have been with her throughout her illness, Tammy Kirk and Jacque Hawkins.

One of the sweetest people I've met. My heart breaks but knowing she's no longer in pain gives me peace. She was a strong lady. She would do anything for anybody. Her smile her laughter i truly will miss. Thank you for your love.
