Martha Seward Obituary

Martha was the owner and operator of Freelance Works. She worked on the internet from its inception, amassing clients and friends all over the world. She worked at the Sussex and Surry Dispatch selling advertisements and also managed the family farm with her husband.
Martha is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, E. Keith Seward, her parents, her sister Linda Norris, and her nephew Randy Chamblee.
She is remembered by her daughters; Jodi Boland and Cari Seward, her grandchildren Danielle Boland and Colin Gwaltney, her niece; Tamara Chamblee Hall, beloved cousins; Barbara H. Adkins, and J. Shelton Stewart III, and family; Chris and Gary Appel and Margie and Steve Young.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 11:00am at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory Wakefield Chapel, (11414 General Mahone Hwy). Service will be officiated by Alex Crocker.
