Martha B. Wiggins, 89, of Willow Street, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late C. Paul and Lois (Hill) Brubaker. She met her husband, Robert Wiggins at Rawlinsville Camp Meeting and they began dating in their teens. They were married for 63 years.
Martha graduated from Penn Manor High School and went on to graduate from Lebanon Valley College in 1957 with a degree in Medical Technology. She worked as a laboratory technician for Harrisburg Hospital, Lancaster General Hospital and retired from Allergy & Asthma Center of Lancaster after 30+ years. Martha was a member of Providence Church, formerly New Providence Church of God, for over 60 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and watching the birds in her backyard. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She loved spending time with her family at Ocean City, New Jersey.
Martha is survived by her husband and three sons: James (Lori) Wiggins of Quarryville, Christopher (Amy) Wiggins of Lancaster, and Michael (Sharon) Wiggins of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy Brubaker, a nephew and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother, C. Paul Brubaker, Jr.
A Memorial Service will take place at Providence Church, 269 Cinder Rd., New Providence, PA on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The family will greet friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
