Martin Arnold Graf, 89, of Pearsall, Texas, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025. He was born on March
31, 1936 in Clovis, New Mexico. After overcoming polio in the 1940s, he graduated from Pearsall High School
and put himself through business school. Martin went on to hold many offices at church including elder,
treasurer, secretary, and Congregational Chairman. He became a Ford Dealer in Cotulla (1963-1968),
continued as a Ford Mercury Dealer in Pearsall, then a Ford Lincoln Mercury Dealer in Del Rio (1983-2003).
During the 1970s and 1980s, he was on the Pearsall City Council, President of the Pearsall Chamber of
Commerce, Little League Coach for the Braves, President of the Pearsall High School Athletic Booster Club,
and Public Address Announcer at Pearsall school activities for 11 years. Martin served as a Bank Director at
Security State Bank since 1979. He enjoyed hunting and watching his sons participate in sports while in junior
high, high school, and college. After the grandkids came along, “Grandad” came straight in from work and
played with them until bedtime whenever possible.
He is preceded in death by: his son Bradley J.;
parents Martin V. Graf and Anita Mayer Graf;
brother Robert E. and wife JoAnn, and their son Larry and wife, Donna, and their daughter, Debbie;
and brother Kenneth G. Graf.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Collier Graf;
son Richard A. “Dickie” Graf and wife Denise (granddaughter, Pamela Harrison and husband Michael,
children: Hunter, Chase, and MJ; and granddaughter Sarah Martinez and husband Matthew, child: Ainsley);
son Edward V. “Eddie” Graf and wife Edna (granddaughter Kilmyn; and Oscar Del Los Santos, Kristy Ortiz and
husband JJ, children: Camila, Jose Juan, and Eduardo);
son Randall M. “Randy” Graf and wife Yvonne (grandson Randall);
daughter Karen S Graf (grandson Andrew Chambers and granddaughter Delani Chambers);
and daughter Cheryl L Crawford (granddaughter Brooke Sawyer and grandson Anthony);
brother Robert’s sons Phillip and James and wife, Darla (child Wesley);
brother Kenneth’s wife Jackie and their son Kevin and wife Quinn (his children Chandler, Emily, Lindsay, Ally,
and Cambridge), son Klint and wife Angie (children Kylie, Kole, Kinley), daughter Kendra and husband Jeff
(children Kellar, Brannan, Holland);
brother, Paul and wife Debi (children Steven and Laura.)
