JOHN DAVENPORT Obituary

DAVENPORT, John F. John passed away peacefully in his sleep, in Dedham, on October 18, 2025. He was 90 years old. Born in Doolin, Co. Clare, Ireland, to the late Austin and Elizabeth Davenport. Beloved partner of the late Kay "Catherine" Murphy for many happy years. Father of Jim, Elizabeth, John, and Karen. Brother of the late Thomas, Bridget, Catherine, Austin, Maryann, and Michael. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, who loved him best. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam. Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, on Wednesday, October 29, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm, in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment is private.
