Marvin was born November 27, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Charles Rowland and Garnett Williams Rowland. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Omida Rowland.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Frazier Rowland; one son, Larry Rowland; one daughter, Kim Rowland; one brother, Cecil Rowland; and three grandchildren, Samuel, Mary Alice, and Kay.
Celebration of Life service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to Jones-Preston Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses by contacting Jones-Preston Funeral Home at 606-789-3501.
