Mary Ard Obituary

Mary Lynn Schultz Ard, 76, of Falmouth, KY, passed away peacefully at her home on August 19, 2025. Born on January 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John and Marian Brun Schultz. Mary proudly served her country as a member of the United States Air Force. Following her military service, she dedicated many years to the United States Postal Service, working as a clerk in Newport, KY, until her retirement. A woman of deep compassion and quiet strength, Mary found joy and solace on her beloved farm. She had a deep love for horses and a natural talent for gardening, often sharing the beauty she cultivated with those around her. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felix Ard, in October of 2022. She is survived by her seven siblings: John Schultz, Judy Weinel, Stan (Berty) Schultz, Ray (Gerri) Schultz, Don (Judy) Schultz, Cindy (Doug) Rust, and Lisa (Warren) Deaton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly. A celebration of Mary's life will be held on the family farm at the convenience of the family.
