Mary Baker Obituary

Mary Baker, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025. She will be remembered for her intelligence, warmth, and deep love of family, friends, and adventure.
Born on October 4, 1954 in Philadelphia, Mary grew up in Warminster and later resided for most of her adult life in Newtown. She graduated from Archbishop Wood High School in 1972, then continued her education at Penn State University's Ogontz Campus and at LaSalle College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in accounting in 1976. Ever dedicated to learning and professional growth, Mary went on to receive her MBA from Drexel University.
Mary's career in finance began at Fidelity Bank and culminated in her role as Director of Finance at Winpak Portion Packaging, where she was a respected leader and colleague. She retired in 2019 after a distinguished 38-year career marked by dedication, integrity, and excellence.
Mary had a lifelong love of the Jersey Shore, especially Sea Isle City, where she spent summers with family and friends-from her early years in shore houses after college to cherished vacations later in life. She was also an avid traveler, exploring destinations across the United States and Europe with curiosity and joy.
Mary's kindness, quick wit, and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her five siblings: Joseph Baker and his wife Catherine, Kathleen Klarich (late husband Timothy), Thomas Baker and his wife Paula, John Baker and Patricia Tento and her husband Anthony and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 19th from 10am-11am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA. A mass of Christian Burial will follow. Interment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
