Mary “Luella” Lawson was born March 22, 1929, in Cortez, CO. the daughter of Merle Coppinger and Elsie Carlson and she passed away March 9, 2025, in Mancos, CO.
She married Albert Lawson on April 19, 1947, where they enjoyed 63 years of marriage. They had three children, Twila Hovey, Eugene Lawson, and Gary Lawson. They enjoyed many hobbies such as camping, fishing, hunting and four wheeling.
Luella is survived by her son Gary (Brook) of Mancos, CO. Her grand children Jamie Lawson of Hesperus, CO, Richard (Libby) Lawson of Ignacio, CO, Paula Riddle (Jeff) of Naturita, CO, and Alden Hovey of Parachute, CO. and has numerous great grandchildren.
Luella is preceded in death by her husband Albert and her children Twila and Eugene
