Mary Alice Lee (née Altizer), 77, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Born on December 24, 1947, in War, West Virginia, Mary was the daughter of James and Minnie Altizer. From a young age, she cultivated a deep and abiding faith that would guide her throughout her life. Her devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was the cornerstone of everything she did. She served faithfully in every church she attended-from her early years at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Augustine to her final days as a cherished member of Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, Florida. Whether singing in the choir, leading Vacation Bible School, participating in drama ministries, teaching Sunday School, or guiding Bible studies, Mary gave her heart fully to each role.
Mary was a gifted hair stylist for over 30 years. Her work went far beyond styling hair-she had a unique ability to help others see both their inner and outer beauty. Her clients often became lifelong friends, drawn not only by her skill but by her warmth and compassion.
She was a loving wife to Jerry Lee and a devoted mother to Tonya Lee Roberts and Brandon Lee. She welcomed their spouses, Norman Roberts and Ligia Lee-into the family with open arms. As "Nany," Mary found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren: Joshua Roberts, Luke Roberts, Kashlyn Lee, Braylon Lee, Londyn Lee, Cannon Lee, and Falyn Lee. Each one held a special place in her heart.
Mary also shared a close bond with her sister Pamela Fischer and brother-in-law Glenn Fisher. Family meant everything to Mary; she nurtured those relationships with unwavering love and support.
Though preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Altizer, Mary's legacy lives on through the many lives she touched-with kindness that never wavered and faith that never faltered.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, Florida, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Flowers or donations to Gideon International will be accepted.
Mary Alice Lee will be remembered for her steadfast faith, generous spirit, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

What a wonderful soul my cousin was. I have so many memories but my favorite is when her, Pam, Frankie and myself went on a ladies retreat. We share a cabin and played a.prank on our pastors wife. Fun times. I know we will see her again. Love you my sweet Mary Alice

I have known Mary and her family for over 40 years. I had Tonya & Brandon in my Sunday School class at Trinity in Apopka.
Mary & Jerry raised two pretty good Kids that I love dearly. To Mary´s family, stay close to each other and praise God for his love and his never ending peace.
