Mary Ann Lilly 72, of Bedford, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at her residence. She was born on July 1, 1952 in Cumberland, MD a daughter of the late Earl James and Velma (Emerick) Dawson. She was married to George W. Lilly Jr., who preceded her in death on January 10, 2011. She is survived by four daughters: Melissa Weist, of Bedford, Patricia Dietz, of Meyersdale, Rebecca Sheetz, of Hyndman, and Jessica Hartman, of Hyndman; 11 grandchildren: Ashley Logsdon, Johnathan Logsdon, Amanda Shaw and husband Jared, Cody Prinkey, Katelyn Prinkey, Cheyanne Southers, Zach Logsdon, Brady Logsdon and wife Shana, Trevor Sheetz, Austin Sheetz, and Brittany Waltman; 20 great-grandchildren: Alexis Wissinger, Charlee Shaw, Lilah Shaw, Aiden Logsdon, Carter Prinkey, Jazmen Bird, Aralynn Obaker, Michael Sutphin, Maylie Slaughbaugh, Madix Slaubaugh, Avah Southers, Amyiah Southers, Chris Smith Jr., Zachary Logsdon Jr., Madden Logsdon, Wyatt Logsdon, Olivia Logsdon, Zaleah Langston, Zariah Langston, and Ivy McCauley; three siblings: Gerald Dawson and wife Bonnie, of Schellsburg, Roger Dawson, of Everett, and Carol Deitz, of Keyser, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary worked for S. Schwab Company in Cumberland, MD and was a member of Comp's Church, in Hyndman. She enjoyed shopping, planting flowers, and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., at the Comp's Church, 267 Comps Church Road, Hyndman, with Pastor Roger Huffman officiating. Burial at Madley Cemetery. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in Mary's name to: Comp's Church, 267 Comps Church Road, Hyndman, PA 15545. Arrangements by the Timothy A.
