Mary G. Miller (aka Mary Jo Miller), 74 of Verona, Ohio died Monday, February 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1950 in Seattle, Washington, a daughter of the late Robert M. Garrison and Lillian Hall Garrison. When Mary Jo lived in the Hundred area she worked as a waitress at various restaurants in the area. She worked at the Corner Café and also at Miss Blue’s. After leaving Hundred she moved to Ohio to be nearer to her daughter Becky. Once she was there, she worked at Walmart until she retired. 

Surviving is one daughter, Rebecca Quinn and her husband Eric of Arcanum, Ohio; two sisters, Patty Foster of Richland, Washington and Nancy “Sally” Foster of Seattle, Washington; and three grandchildren, Robbie Quinn, Savannah Quinn, and Justin Quinn. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joretta Pritchett; and her companion of approximately 25 years, Junior Anderson. 

Friends and family may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery. Mary Jo will be laid to rest by her late father and mother, Bob & Lillian.
