Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Neblock, age 85, of Marceline, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice House, surrounded by the love of her family. Mary Lou was born on June 24, 1939, in Missouri, the daughter of Bernard Norbert and Lucille Mae (Kressig) Beeler. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Salisbury, Missouri, in 1956. On October 5, 1957, she was united in marriage to Harold Neblock at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury, and together they shared many years of love and devotion until his passing. Throughout her life, Mary Lou worked as a supervisor for Walsworth Publishing, known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit. She was an active member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and also a member of the Eagles in Marceline. Deeply rooted in her faith and community, Mary Lou spent her time volunteering to deliver meals to senior citizens, writing heartfelt poetry, and cherishing moments with friends and family. Her warm presence, genuine smile, and gracious hospitality will be missed by all who knew her. Mary Lou was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters: Tammy Neblock-Beirne and her husband Paul of Mission Hills, KS, and Connie Lindsay and her husband Greg of Brookfield, MO. She was the proud grandmother of eight: Miranda Mandle (TJ), Josh Neblock (Krista), Zack Neblock (Trish), Katie Beirne-Smith (Peter), Matt Beirne, Luke Lindsay (Autumn), Brock Lindsay, and Alexis Grosenheider (Zach); and the loving great-grandmother to sixteen: Grayson, Charlie Joe, Nora, Leo Mandle, Lennix, Gemma, Jett, Ellie, Maverick, and Ace Neblock, Blayde, Knox, and Axel Lindsay, Kanon and Krew Grosenheider, and Addison Smith. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Eddington of Salisbury, MO, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Harold Neblock; her son, Harold Joe Neblock, Jr.; and her three brothers, Bud, Bill, and Bob Beeler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Marceline, Missouri.
