I did not have a sister until my brother married Mary when I was 10 years old. She let me play with one of her dolls, and during the next four years she gave birth to three living dolls (Dan, Tammi and Scott). I got to play with them too. I was an adult when her son Todd was born, but later, as retired teachers, we learned that we had much in common. Mary loved to give gifts. Many were knitted or crocheted that she made specifically for the recipient. But the best gifts she shared with me are her children. Rest in peace, Mary, and give my brother a heavenly hug.
