Ms. Maryanne Yasmine Smeltzer, age 53, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Maryanne was born on September 2, 1971, the daughter of Steven Leroy Smeltzer and Juanita (Wise) Keeble. Maryanne was a lifetime member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge #1177. She was very active in the Christian community and loved to do volunteer work. Maryanne enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, boating, being at the beach, and lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
Maryanne was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita (Wise) Keeble; and five aunts, Patricia Wise, Thelma H. Barnes, Alice Marie Taylor, Mary E. Gilbert and Alma Newton. She is survived by her two children, Casey Michelle Smeltzer and Steven (Ash) Allen; her father, Steven Smeltzer; five siblings, Tim, Thomas, Terry and Cheryl Rogers and Billy Keeble; two aunts, Shirley Wise and Jewel D. Humphrey; and her adopted children, Jennifer Smith and Jeffery Allen.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Brandenburg Moose Lodge, 245 Main Street, Brandenburg, KY 40108. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the funeral home to aid the family with the funeral expenses.
