Marynell "Mary" Scott, born on August 22, 1954, in Pomona, California, entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2025, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine June Case and Harry Anthony Babnick; her daughters, Tammy Butler and Tracy Laman; her grandson, Robert Butler III; her sisters, Linda McDaniel and Kathy; and her brother, Larry Babnick. She is survived by her daughter, Taisha Bartsch; her grandchildren, Kristanna Turton, Jacob Butler, Pamela Laman, Nelly and Tony Marcus Dakota Quinlan, and Austin Bartsch; as well as her great-grandchildren Rylie Woody, Enieve Quinlan-Marcus, Jj Butler and Octavian Marcus.

Mary spent her early years in Pomona before growing up in Pueblo and Denver, Colorado. In 2003, she moved to Columbus, New Mexico, where she resided for the remainder of her life. Mary found joy in crocheting and was known for her love of cooking and baking.

Services for Mary will be announced at a later date.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

I´m sad to say that my wedding was the last time I had seen you before everything thing happened and it was amazing to have you out here to meet your second great grandson!! You helped us a lot and it truly saddens me you aren´t here with us anymore... please watch over us and see your great grandkids grow.. We love you fly high
