Mason Guydelkon, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on July 12, 2025 in Mescalero, New Mexico.
He is survived by his loving wife Isabel Guydelkon; daughters, Charlotte LaPaz, Lorraine Guydelkon, and Theresa Lujan; grandchildren, Rachel LaPaz, Keriana Barcus, Crucita Guydelkon, Mason Paul Guydelkon, Kyle Cimmaron, Matthew J. Guydelkon, and Michelle Stigall; great grandchildren, Kyndra Hiles, Joseph Hiles, Gavean Guffey, Annabell Guffey, Elisa Guydelkon, Azacenia Guydelkon, Alexis Guydelkon, Matt Guydelkon, and Julian Guydelkon. Mason is preceded in death by his daughter, Roasnell Guydelkon, and his sister, Elizabeth LaPaz Guydelkon.
The family also wishes to acknowledge his VA caregivers, Carla Wilsm, Keathleen Calderon, and Kathy; the LaPaz family, the Blake family, the Pellman family, the Guydelkon family, and Patch the Dog.
Procession will leave LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso on Tuesday July 15, 2025 at 8:00 AM. The Rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 9:00 AM at St Joseph Apache Mission. Mass of Christian Burial will held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Mescalero Cemetery in Mescalero, New Mexico.
