Maudie Agnes Wallace, 85, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in Springtown, Texas surrounded by her family and the warmth of their love.

As we gather to pay homage to a life so beautifully lived, friends and family are invited to participate in a Visitation on July 15, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. A funeral service to celebrate Maudie’s rich legacy will be held the following day, July 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Hawkins Funeral Home. She will then be laid to rest in a burial ceremony at Chico Cemetery.

Maudie's pallbearers include Colton Morgan, Breckin Norris, Louie Daniel Winters, Brysyn Gausnell, Chantz Tackett, and Glenn Lee Davis, Jr. In honor of her spirit, Carl David Tackett, Jr. will serve as the honorary pallbearer.

Born on May 15, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Dorothy Kirby, Maudie built a life rich in love and family values. She married her late husband, James Edward Wallace, Sr., on December 24, 1956, in Weatherford, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams. Maudie's heart will forever be intertwined with his, just as they journeyed through life hand in hand. Maudie found great joy in her role as a homemaker, creating a nurturing environment for her beloved family. Maudie was a beacon of strength for her loved ones and found immense fulfillment in her roles as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be fondly remembered for her nurturing spirit and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Davis, and her husband Glenn, of Springtown, who carry forward her legacy of love. Maudie was proud of her large family, which includes 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss her nurturing spirit. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends who cherished her kindness and warmth.

Maudie is predeceased by her husband James Edward Wallace, Sr., her son James Edward Wallace, Jr., and her son Andrew Daniel Wallace, Sr. She is also reunited with her parents, along with her brother and sister, who she loved deeply.

Maudie Wallace's kindness, dedication to family, and love for life will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
