Maxine Lehman, of Billings, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones. Maxine was 84 years old. She was born July 27, 1940, in Boaz, MO, to Otis and Reathal (Jones) Jones. She graduated Salutatorian from Clever Schools in 1958. Maxine was an office manager for several businesses – Clever Schools, 2 insurance offices and 3 Doctor's offices. She was an avid reader, loved bowling, fishing and was a church organist for many years. She was a 4-H leader, Blue Bird leader, and a long-time member of Clever Christian Church, and went on several mission trips to Mexico. She loved being with all her kids, grandkids, and great grand kids.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She is survived by her husband Bud Lehman, 4 children: Christine (Avery) Crow, Craig (Lisa) Lehman, Mara (James) Ray, and Paula Lehman. 7 grandkids: Robin (Rick) Orr, Lindsey Lehman, Leah Leahman, TJ Ray (Allison Blevins), Kaylea (Levi) Shelton, Bryant (Kenzie) Crow, Jeremy Crow. 8 great grandkids: Jordan Orr, Aubrie and Walker Shelton (and baby Sadie Maxine), Paisley Blevins, Brinley and Bailee Crow (and baby), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home in Clever. A graveside service for family and friends is scheduled for Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. in Smart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be sent to Clever Christian Church (P.O. Box 146 Clever, MO. 65631) or Smart Cemetery (c/o Avery Crow 500 Riley Dr, Billings, MO. 65610) in memory of Maxine Lehman.
