Megan Boettcher Obituary

Megan was embraced by her beloved partner, Cory Hubbard, and their two children, Dawson and Constance, until God wrapped His arms around her, allowing us to let go.
Megan was truly the best person-radiant with the beauty of life. She taught Cory and their children to appreciate the specialness of every moment. Though she sometimes needed to be reminded that Cory didn't see through the same lenses, she opened his eyes to pure magic.
Not only was she a super talented artist, but she was also a genuinely loving person. For the past seven years, she has been affectionately known as "the best mommy ever."
Megan attended school in Watertown, South Dakota, until 2006. She earned three degrees after high school in Sioux Falls, SD. After obtaining her bachelor's degree, she began working for a company in Sioux Falls as an HR assistant, eventually advancing to the main HR position.
A few years later, Megan and Cory decided to return to Watertown, South Dakota, where she continued her career in an HR position at a company in Watertown.
Most recently, Megan worked remotely from home as a customer service specialist for Premier Bankcard in Watertown, South Dakota.
In 2018, Megan and Cory were blessed with their son, Dawson Arnold. Then, in 2020, they were blessed with their daughter, Constance Marie.
Megan, Cory, and their children moved to Brookings, SD, in 2022. Megan continued to work at Premier Bankcard until later in 2022, after which she chose to stay home with their children. She had previously stayed home after their births, then returned to work, allowing Cory to stay home with them until she was ready to stop working again.
Megan is preceded in death by her grandparents: Arnold, Marilyn, Virgil, and Esther. Cory's dad Paul Hubbard and Cory's son Evan Simmons and her uncles: Tim, Bob, Dan, and Doug.
